The Alberta Municipal First Responder (MFR) Program is pleased to announce the MFR Training & Equipment Fund. For a limited time, Alberta Health Services is accepting funding applications from enrolled agencies for patient care-related training & equipment. Applications are invited from first responder groups, such as Fire Services, that have enrolled with AHS in the new MFR framework.

AHS has stated that they are happy to work with any agency that has not yet completed the enrolment process to get this done so they too can take advantage of this funding opportunity.

All Fire Services in Alberta are encouraged to enroll with MFR and access supports available from AHS.

The attachment from AHS outlines the fund guidelines and application process. It can be accessed by clicking here.
