Did you know that the Elected Officials Education Program (EOEP) offers all of their courses online?

The EOEP, which is jointly owned and operated by the AAMDC and AUMA, has been providing Alberta’s municipal community with professional development for almost ten years.

As you may not know, in addition to the in-person courses that the EOEP offers several times each year, our entire course roster is available online!

Taking an online course has a number of benefits, including:

  • Less costly than an in-person courses (lower enrollment fee, no travel costs)
  • Can be completed at your own pace (finish it in a day, or take as long as you need to)
  • No set course times (work around your schedule)

If you have spare time over the holidays and are looking to brush up on your skills in a number of areas of municipal governance, visit eoep.ca to enroll for an online course.

One option is to work through one of our more intensive courses online, as these take two days to complete through an in-person course. Two-day courses that can be completed conveniently at home or in the office are:

  • Spend Wisely, Lead Strongly: Municipal Finance
  • Rules, Roles and Relationships: Understanding Municipal Governance
