The AAMDC

The AAMDC is a grass-roots organization led by and for its member municipalities.

The Executive

The executive consists of a president and vice president, both elected at large each year.  Five district directors are elected to staggered, two-year terms. The directors are elected by the municipalities within the district they represent.

Elections

All elections are by secret ballot and require that the successful candidate receive a clear majority of votes cast. In the event that this does not occur, the candidate with the lowest number of votes received is dropped from the ballot and the election is repeated until one candidate receives a clear majority.
