AAMDC Board 

AAMDC  R. W. Hay Evaluation Committee
Mandate:
The AAMDC R.W. Hay Award is awarded by the AAMDC Board of Directors on an annual basis in recognition of excellence in rural municipal administration.  There is a maximum of one award granted per calendar year. 
To evaluate and review on an annual basis the nominees for the AAMDC R.W.Hay Award for Administrative Excellence (based on pre-determined criteria_ and to make a recommendation, based on the review, to the AAMDC Board of Directors as to a recipient of the award for the current year.

AAMDC Standing Issues Committee- Social, Policy and Services
Mandate:

AAMDC Representative: Tom Burton

AAMDC Standing Issues Committee- Government, Finance and Economy
Mandate:

a) A task oriented resource that can be activated at the call of the AAMDC Board, or in response to a member driven initiative, to better support the work the Board of Directors are tasked with.

b) To review and provide recommendations on Governance, Finance and the Economy. Specifically the committee will focus on the following topic areas:

  • Assessment
  • Municipal Government Act
  • Intergovernmental relations
  • Electoral Boundaries
  • Budget and Treasury
  • Economic Development
  • Tourism
  • Trade
  • Economic aspects of core industries such as agriculture, oil and gas sector, forestry etc.
