Jubilee Insurance Agency was incorporated in 1955 to provide Alberta
municipal jurisdictions with access to reasonably priced and
comprehensive insurance protection.
Jubilee has steadily expanded its member base to service
various local authorities, schools, seniors' housing and other
non-profit groups.
Today, Jubilee Insurance remains a wholly-owned subsidiary of the
AAMDC. The Board consists of 6 AAMDC Directors who provide direction
to the agency personnel.
As of 2006,
the Jubilee Insurance member base includes:
- 67 municipal districts,
counties and special municipalities
- 1,400 additional named insureds
under the 67 municipal districts, counties and special municipalities
- over 400 other non-profit entities such as seniors housing,
kindergartens, private and charter schools, public school boards and
water cooperatives
Philosophy
Jubilee Insurance has a mandate to provide insurance/risk management services for the following:
- non-profit or publicly funded entities
- organizations that benefit the community as a whole
Jubilee Insurance provides tailor-made insurance policies and risk management services to address our clients' needs.
Master Policy Concept
All Jubilee clients have similar coverages,
but client-specific premiums. This makes our overall program
administratively efficient. The benefits of this efficiency are passed
on to our clients.
Our large volume gives us bargaining power with various insurance carriers.
