Committee involvement is one important function of the AAMDC's advocacy  efforts.

Board members sit on a number of provincial, inter-organizational and internal AAMDC committees. Through their committee involvement, board members can gain valuable information concerning current and future government initiatives, build relationships with key stakeholders and influence policy development.
