In 2008, the AAMDC entered into contracts with
Imperial Oil, UFA, Parkland Industries (FasGas/RaceTrac), Bluewave and
Husky to supply our members with gasoline, diesel and lubricants.
This program aims to combat one-sided pricing
advantages enjoyed by petroleum suppliers and to help our members
purchase fuel at a lower cost while still supporting local fuel
dealers.

Primary Benefits:
- Lower cost of gasoline, diesel and lubricants.
- Fuel price changes controlled to eliminate the practice of fuel suppliers providing "giveaway" prices in response to a tender and then increasing the prices to more profitable levels in the following months.
- Eliminating the cost and administrative burden of tendering for fuel.
- Providing confidence that fuel is fairly purchased.
- Industry experts working for members to enforce the terms of a fuel supply contract and correcting all invoicing errors, eliminating the need for day-to-day administration.
- Supporting local fuel agents.
Joining the Fuel Supply Program:
- Members may join at any time, subject to the term that any existing contract for fuel supply be honoured.
- There is no cost to join the Fuel Supply Program. An administration fee of 1.2 cents/L of fuel and 5 cents/L of lubricants is charged.
- Each member selects from suppliers that have entered into supply contracts with the AAMDC.
- A member may withdraw from the Fuel Supply contract at any time, without penalty.

If you would like to join the AAMDC Fuel Supply Program, please forward a copy of your past year's fuel invoices to Aggregated Business Services Coordinator Kaala Johnson. Our staff will provide a detailed report comparing the prices you paid to those that you would have paid through the program.
