The Executive Assistant position reports directly to the Chief Administrative Officer. You will provide administrative support to the CAO, County Council and Senior Leadership Team.

The position requires a high level of confidentiality and a strong team player as well as the ability to work independently.
The Executive Assistant position reports directly to the Chief Administrative Officer. You will provide administrative support to the CAO, County Council and Senior Leadership Team. This position is responsible for legislative, records management, FOIPP coordination and communications duties. Legislative duties include preparation of meeting agendas, attendance at meetings and preparation of minutes. Record management responsibilities through oversite of the program and electronic system for all departments. FOIP coordinator duties include overall management of access to information and protection of privacy functions, and various communication duties. Communication duties include CAO and Council correspondence and website management of legislative information.
• Administrative Professional Certifications or equivalent.
• Three (3) years’ relevant experience in a Municipal Government, with at least two years at a senior level. A strong understanding of the Municipal Government Act and FOIPP are preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written skills and proficiency in computer skills (MS Office and iCompass) are required.
