Temporary, Part time - 12 hours / week
Term: October 2017 to May 2018
Varying shifts, including nights and weekends
$18.16 – $22.74 per hour

If we’ve caught your attention, you should know that we’re currently recruiting for a temporary, part time Custodian for the Civic Centre. 

While reporting to the Lead, Facility Operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, maintenance and overall appearance of a City of Leduc building. In addition, you will be responsible for providing friendly, courteous and professional services by assisting customers as required; this may include set up and take down of equipment during special events.

The successful candidate will possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent, with a minimum of six months custodial experience. Have or be willing to obtain a valid First Aid, CPR/AED and WHMIS certification. Occupational Health & Safety Standards knowledge of proper cleaning procedures, use of cleaning agents and materials is strongly desired. Prior municipal experience would be considered an asset. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and have the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Possessing computer skills in Microsoft Office applications would be an asset.

The ability to work flexible shifts, evenings and weekends is necessary. The successful candidate will be required to provide a current Criminal Record Check with enhanced RCMP clearance.
