Oyen - The Special Areas Board requires a District Maintenance Foreman.

SALARY: $66,461 - $81,170 per annum

 OYEN: The Special Areas Board requires a District Maintenance Foreman.   This position is a permanent fulltime position reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor.  This position is responsible for supervising the operation of equipment and up to 11 equipment operators in the maintenance, repair and snow removal of gravel, oiled and paved roads in a large rural municipality.  Responsibilities also include the maintenance of the district shop, equipment and yard as well as standard municipal work such as gravel prospecting and assisting with ratepayer concerns with road matters.

  QUALIFICATIONS:  A minimum of 3 years experience in operating equipment and road maintenance.  The successful applicant must have leadership and team work skills.  A valid class 3 drivers license with air endorsement is desirable.  Supervisory experience, knowledge of AVL systems and basic computer skills are a requirement.  Equivalencies will be considered.
