Special Areas #2, 3 & 4 - The Special Areas Board invites applications for seasonal positions as Maintenance Grader Operators within the Special Areas 2, 3 and 4.

 Reporting to the District Maintenance Foreman for each area, duties for this position involve the operation of road maintenance equipment in performing such tasks as road maintenance and grading. In addition, the operator will be required to keep records, service and make minor repairs to equipment, as well as perform duties such as erecting snow fence, removing rock from roadway, erecting signs, weed cutting, and other duties as required.

 QUALIFICATIONS: Grader experience related to road maintenance and construction; completion of grade twelve or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  Applicant must meet the physical requirement needs for the position. A valid class 5 Drivers License is necessary. Cat M joystick control experience is an asset. For additional information contact Wade Heiland, District Maintenance Supervisor at 403-779-3733.
