Jubilee Insurance is pleased to announce the presentation of RiskPro 2017 to be held this September at three locations throughout the province.

  • Grande Prairie: September 25/26, 2017 – ENTREC Center, Evergreen Park
  • Leduc: September 28/29, 2017 – Executive Royal Inn

In response to overwhelming member feedback, we are once again offering two-day insurance and risk symposiums. The symposiums will benefit our municipal members as well as those from the Alberta Seniors Housing Association.

Once again our Claims Department has completed a thorough review of the program’s claims activity, and from this information we have fashioned the RiskPro 2017 program. It will provide education in both general insurance and risk management to assist our members as they continue to craft their own Risk Management Program by providing the framework, structure and tools to do so.

Offering simultaneous sessions allows us to offer a wider variety of content, that is applicable to more departments throughout your organization. This will allow us to continue the risk management training and in addition to revisit the fundamentals of insurance. One of our goals this year is to provide not only theoretical training but also practical tools that you can take back to your organization to help you to better manage your risks and reduce your exposures.

By offering simultaneous sessions RiskPro 2017 will deal with the following topics in separate sessions:

Our members are already purchasing insurance products and practicing Risk Management every day. The intent of this symposium is NOT to add extra procedures, processes and costs to your municipality, rather it is designed to help you evaluate your insurance needs,  incorporate Risk Management into your current systems and start to formalize the processes that you already have in place.RiskPro 2017 begins where RiskPro 9 left off and will continue our efforts to assist our members to protect their assets and operations with the right insurance products. Our goal is to help our membership implement systems to identify and evaluate their risks, and create risk mitigation strategies to address those risks. 

We have developed several topics for varying roles within the organization. Many of these programs require support from the organization’s leadership for successfully implementing a risk management program. This year we will recommend that your organization have individuals representing these roles and departments participate:
