Due to demand, the AAMDC has added two new workshops on the MGA consultations to be held in September. These workshops will provide AAMDC with further direction to ensure the association is well positioned to contribute to the government-led consultations moving forward. Workshops will take place from 9:45 am to 3:00 pm at the following locations:
- Thursday, September 19 – Balzac (Balzac Hall)
- Friday, September 20 – St. Paul (County of St. Paul Boardroom)
The sessions are intended for elected officials and municipal staff of AAMDC’s 69 full member municipalities. Please RSVP your attendance, specifying location, to Cindy Carstairs at firstname.lastname@example.org by September 12, 2013. If you have already confirmed for a session happening this week and would like to change, please contact Cindy immediately.
Facilitated by AAMDC staff, the intent of these sessions is to discuss elements of the MGA that could be improved and those that are beneficial and should be retained. Please see the attached agenda and discussion materials. Participants are encouraged to review these ahead of time to ensure a comprehensive discussion.
